Bison, Honey and More at Oakmont Farmers Market This Week

The Oakmont Farmers Market will be open on Wednesday, June 19.

The market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Grace Chapel Parking Lot, 1 W. Eagle Road in Havertown.

The farmers market has provided a list of vendors that will be at the market during the season and what they will be offering shoppers. Those listed below will be selling this Wednesday.

BACKYARD BISON at the market THIS WEEK.

Backyard Bison will be at the market with their bison steaks, jerky, and other terrific products. 

BLUEBERRY HILL FARM at the market THIS WEEK.

Peg will have lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, green beans, sugar snap peas, red potatoes, parsley, rosemary, thyme, mint, peppermint, strawberries, whatever else might be ready for harvesting and, of course, dog treats!

CONEBELLA FARM at the market THIS WEEK.

Conebella will be bringing their new preservative free cheese spreads. They will have 7 varieties:  Horseradish Cheddar, Garden Garlic, Tomato Basil, Jalapeno Cheddar, Smokey Cheddar, Red Wine and Cheddar.  We will be sampling the Horseradish Cheddar and Garden Garlic Spreads, along with 5 of our Cheddar and Colby cheeses. We'll see them biweekly through the season.

ECLAT CHOCOLATE at the market next week.

FRUITWOOD ORCHARDS HONEY FARM 

at the market THIS WEEK.

This week Fruitwood will have asparagus, radish, spinach, Swiss chard, sugar snap peas, greens, strawberries, and cherries. And as always, they will bring their local honey and honey spreads, bee pollen, and apple butter.

GOLDEN VALLEY FARMS at the market THIS WEEK. 

Golden Valley Farms Coffee Roasters will be at the market this week with an array of their Organic, Shade-Grown, Bird-Friendly, and Fair Trade coffees and teas.  If you want to pre-order a coffee that is not being offered at the farmer's market or you have a special request for a grind setting, please call 610-719-0232 or email: sales@goldenvalleyfarms.com  

GREAT HARVEST BREAD at the market THIS WEEK.

Great Harvest is back at the market this week with their selection of delicious baked goods and breads.

HAVERFORD GUILD OF CRAFTSMEN at the market THIS WEEK. 

The Haverford Guild of Craftsmen will be back at the market this week. They will be bringing a representation of beautiful work from 15 locals artists including, ceramics, jewelry, painting, dolls, and greeting cards. Stop by to take a look and to pick up a list of their market dates and participating artists.

LINDENHOF FARM at the market THIS WEEK. 

This week  Axel will have plenty of fresh, all-natural, free-range chicken parts and  whole chickens. He'll also bring plenty of steaks, chops, sausages and cubes for all your grilling needs. He will have a nice selection of hot dogs, patties, links and other meats just in time for graduation parties! MOMPOPS at the market THIS WEEK.

Issa will be at the market this week with her  orange coconut, and mango popsicles plus a few special surprises!  Mompops popsicles are handmade and gluten free, nut free, dairy free, soy free, and 100% vegan.

MY HOUSE COOKIES at the market THIS WEEK.

PENNS WOODS WINERY at the market THIS WEEK.

Penns Woods Winery will offer samples of their ultra-premium wines. Be sure to have a taste of their Ameritage 2004, the first from the winery, a bold, dry red made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo. All their wines are crafted by Gino Razzi and Davide Creato - both originally from Abruzzo, Italy. Stop by their tent to pick up a bottle!

PUREBLEND TEA at the market THIS WEEK.

Pureblend will be there with a variety of hand blended whole leaf teas.  They are excited to bring us their  Ready-To-Brew Iced Tea packs. Come over to sample the new blend: Classic Black. 

RIDGE VALLEY FARM at the market THIS WEEK.

Sue will be back at the market with her wonderful maple products, including syrup and granola!

SCHAEFFER'S FLOWERS at the market THIS WEEK.

Denny will be bringing small bouquets of red roses,  lilies, and large and small spring bouquets. 

SPOTTED HILL FARM at the market THIS WEEK.

Donna will be back at the market with all of her wonderful soaps, lotions, shampoos, and Beat It Bug! Spray. 

VERA PASTA at the market THIS WEEK.

Joe will be at the market with a selection of fresh pastas and amazing sauces. Stop by to pick up a pound (or five!).
