  • Marple Newtown, PA

I have lived in Delaware County for my entire 23 years of life and in Newtown Township for the past 13. I am a graduate of St. Anastasia School Class of 2004, Marple Newtown High School Class of 2008 and recently graduated from West Chester University Class of 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Latin American Studies.

While at West Chester University, I was elected in my sophomore year to be President of the Student Government Association, representing the 15,000 undergraduate students and operating a budget of over $1 million dollars.

In that same year, I was nominated by former Governor Ed Rendell and confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate to become a member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). This board is responsible for the 120, 000 undergraduate students across the 14 state universities in Pennsylvania. During my tenure on the Board, I was a member of the Finance, Facilities and Administration Committee, which helped develop and execute the $1.5 billion PASSHE budget.

I have been involved in the Newtown Township Republican party since I was 16 years old, serving as an assistant committeemen for 5 years. I worked on the Executive Committee for the “Ed Partridge for Supervisor” Campaign and was appointed to the position of Committeemen in May 2011. In April of 2012, I was elected to my first full term representing the 2nd Precinct in Newtown Township.

In June 2012, I was elected by my fellow Newtown Republican Committee members to the position of 2ndVice-Chair.

Politics has been a passion of mine for many years, and I feel that it is every American citizen’s duty to educate and inform the voters. With this blog I hope to achieve that while also helping to usher forward a new generation of young and informed Republican voters.

As a personal policy, I will not engage individuals in arguments with dissenting opinions to my own. My blogs purpose is to inform and educate individuals not put on a “dog and pony show” of who can write the best insult. If you wish to contact me directly, please feel free to email me. We can sit and chat over coffee, or something stronger!
