The New 'Y' Taking Shape

The opening is months away.

If you haven't driven past the new Haverford Area YMCA construction site lately you might be surprised how the outside of the building is starting to change. Over the past weeks more and more of the huge glass panes that are a major design feature of the new structure have been installed. The new "Y" is scheduled to open in October. Now that it's starting to take shape, what do you think of the new building's design and look?

FIX THE DAMN ROAD. Improve eagle rd: widen it, improve drainage, fix the traffic lights that cause backups and do not put a traffic light at hill crest. The Y is a mistake, and only has cost the township money without any return.   more ›
