Have: You are right! I drove by there today. When I was little I wasn't allowed to cross Darby Road. I am 54 now, so I need to grow up, I guess.   more ›

Visions For Vacancies: Former Tobacco Shop

Who should move into the Manoa Shopping Center?

Caveat emptor: The previous tenant smoked. Now that Wooden Indian Tobacco Shop has moved to its new, bigger headquarters at 95 S. Eagle Road, what should take its old place in Manoa Shopping Center? Tucked next to Manoa Candy in a corner of the shopping complex, the unit has an open area out front that could accomodate a few chairs and tables. What would you like to see move into this retail space off West Chester Pike? Let us know your suggestions in the comments.

What Should Replace This Closed Gas Station?

Tell us what should go in at this closed business.

Though it's future is still up in the air, Haverford-Havertown Patch wants to know: what do the township's residents think should go in at the currnetly closed West Chester Pike gas station? Does the area need a replacement station? Would new retail shops be best? Should they knock it down and make it a park? Tell us in the comments below what you would like to see in this space.
