Veterans from all wars were thanked and honored at Media's 53rd Annual Veterans Day Parade on Monday.
MEDIA BOROUGH—Delaware County celebrated its 53rd Annual Veterans Day Parade with thanks and honor to all war veterans, young and old. Thousands of parade-goers honored Veterans Day with the 10 area school marching bands, numerous ROTC companies, antique cars and war vehicles, local and state officials and of course the veterans in Media on Monday. The New Greatest Generation was the theme heard throughout the day. U.S. Bob Casey Jr. spoke to the crowd saying Veterans Day was about gratitude, gratitude for those who have served our country and their families for the sacrifices they have made.
