Sen. Casey Set to Appear at Media's 53rd Veterans Day Parade

The "new" greatest generation of veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars will be honored.

Media's 53nd Annual Veterans Day Parade, which is the largest Veterans Day parade in the state, will be held on Nov. 12 at 11:11 a.m. Media Mayor Bob McMahon said this year's honors will focus on the new, greatest generation of veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. McMahon said U.S. General David Petraeus recently referred to this generation of veterans as the new, greatest generation in an educational program film and it was decided that would be the theme of this year's parade. The parade will kick off with the roar of motorcycles down State Street.
