Route 1 will see night construction Tuesday, August 14 through Thursday, August 16
Haverford’s late summer of road construction continues, as another local road will see work the week of August 14. According to a release on the township website, road work will be done on Township Line Road (Route 1) between Darby Road and Harding Drive from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, August 16. The construction, which is reported for a lane widening on Township Line Road, is the third announcement of construction since late August. While most of the projects have been short-term, Eagle Road is expected to see lane restrictions into October.

Some major Haverford Roads are going to be under construction in August. According to a release from the township’s website, utility installations will cause lane restrictions near Township Line Road and N Eagle Road in Haverford this week. The following areas will be impacted by the installations:

Thanks a lot Haverford Twnshp...why in god's name is this roadwork keeping me up so late? I'll tell you why..somebody dropped the ball when it came to this project..the Quarry construction all damn day long..and now this! My home feels like it's under some kind of enemy attack..the vibrations..trucks ..and noise that is deafening. Why is this taking place at 12 midnight...isn't there some law … more ›
