Dinner’s done and the only thing more stuffed than the bird is you. Now the question becomes: What to do with all those leftovers? While many say simple reheating is all that’s necessary to have a “day after” feast, others have elaborate recipes for turning Thanksgiving leftovers into gourmet delights. From savory turkey soups to sinfully delicious pot pies and mile-high sandwiches, everyone has their own ideas on what to do with what’s leftover. Our fall foliage has peaked, but although the leaves may no longer be as pretty, you can still see some great fall foliage pictures that were entered as part of our photo contest. Congratulations to Dick Brant, of Bryn Mawr. He is the winner of Patch’s Fall Foliage Picture of the Week contest. His picture of the rope hanging over the countryside dotted below with fall color was the post popular with our users. Thanks to everyone who submitted your great pictures. Information provided by AAA: AAA projects 43.6 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more from home during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, an increase of 0.7 percent over the 43.3 million people who traveled last year. This increase marks the fourth consecutive year of growing holiday travelers since 2008 when Thanksgiving travel fell by 25 percent. The Thanksgiving holiday travel period is defined as Wednesday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 25.
