Meet Haverford Middle School's choir teacher who recently helped the school's choir, 7th Heaven, achieve second place in B101's Christmas choir competition.

HAVSD Teachers Honored For 25 Years of Service

Four Haverford School District teachers were recently recognized for their years of service at a school board meeting.

Four Haverford School District teachers were recently recognized for their 25 years of service to the school district at a school board meeting on Nov. 15. Teachers honored at the meeting included Haverford Middle School math teacher Michael Braverman and fourth-grade teacher at Chatham Park Elementary School Patricia Hardy. Ronna Scheier, counselor at Haverford Middle School, and Mark Wangberg, art teacher at Haverford High School, were not present but recognized. "These four teacher have stayed the course and invested thousands of hours to the lives of our children," said Superintendent William Keilbaugh at the school board meeting.
