Street Fight Ends With Public Drunkenness Charges, Police Say

Two incidents of public drunkenness reported last Saturday night in Haverford.

Haverford Police report two cases of alleged public drunkenness within less than two hours in the middle of last Saturday night. The following blotter information is provided by Haverford Police. Public Drunkenness at the unit block of W. Marthart Avenue on Feb. 17 at 1:59 a.m. - Police were dispatched to the above location for a fight in the street. A 26-year-old-man from the 1100 block of Darby Road, was given a warning for disorderly conduct and cited for public drunkenness. Public Drunkenness at Wawa (1000 block of Darby Road) on February 17 at 3:47 a.m. - A 23-year-old-man from the 1000 block of Concord Avenue, Drexel Hill, was cited for public drunkenness.

Police Cite Three for Public Drunk

The following information comes from the Haverford Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate guilt or conviction.

According to a release from the Haverford Township Police Aepartment, police responded to the following incidents of public drunkenness between August 1 and 8: Public Drunkenness at Hykels Bar (2700 block of County Line Road) on August 2 - a 33-year-old Philadelphia man was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. Public Drunkenness at Westgate Pub (1000 block of West Chester Pike) on August 7 - a 37-year-old Haverford man was cited for public drunkenness. Public Drunkenness at Wawa (unit block of E. Eagle Road) on August 4 - a 22-year-old Philadelphia man, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
