Haverford Home Sales Rise in January
A new report shows more growth in Haverford home sales.
New figures from Prudential Fox Roach Realtors' HomExpert market report show a 40 percent jump in home sales last month in Haverford when compared with sales in January 2012. According to the report, 28 homes were sold in Haverford in January. Only 20 homes sold in January 2012. That marks a 40 percent income year over year. Since 2011, the overall January sales growth rate is much smaller. That's because 27 homes sold in Havertown in January 2011. The median price for a housesold in Haverford last month was $288,250. That's up slightly from January 2012, but still way below levels for January 2011 when the median price for homes sold in Haverford was $310,000.
