Haverford Craftsmen Open Studios to Visitors
Thirty-three local craftspeople will exhibit their work in six Haverford homes starting Nov. 30.
Are you looking to support local businesses, put a dent in your holiday shopping list and meet your neighbors? You can do it all in one fell swoop at the end of the month, when the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen holds its fourth annual weekend studio tour. What is the tour? Six local craftspeople will open their studios to the public. Each studio will have about five guild members showcasing and answering questions about their work, which will be for sale. When does it run? The tour runs all three days of the weekend: "I love it. It feels like day goes by so quickly," Guild president Cathy Hetznecker said. "We all work alone most days of year.
