Greg Vitali, the Democratic State Representative incumbent for the 166th legislative district, beat his Republican challenger Bill Toal in Tuesday’s election. As of 12 a.m. Vitali was leading Toal by 20,637 to 12,077 votes. Vitali, a Haverford resident, has been a member of the House since 1993. “During my 20 years in the Pennsylvania legislature I have taken a lead role on environmental issues and have been the recipient of numerous environmental and other awards,” Vitali told Main Line Media News.
