Would your elementary school principal have worn a hat like this to work? She might have if she was doing the same thing as Coopertown Elementary School Principal, Angela Sorrentino. Kindergarten pre-registration for students entering schools in the Haverford School District will end on Feb. 8.
For parents looking to register their children in kindergarten within the Haverford School District, save the date: pre-registration call-in dates started on Monday and will last until Friday, Feb. 8. Registration appointments will begin on Feb. 21. If your child will be five years old on or before August 31, 2013, and is a resident of Haverford Township, he or she will be eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2013-2014 school year, according to the Haverford School District website. Parents and guardians should plan to begin the kindergarten registration process by calling their local elementary school this week. Calls will be accepted between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. only.
