If you're not looking for it, you could drive right past the unassuming storefront on Eagle Road that is home to Carl's Cards and Collectibles. You may not have noticed it in your daily travels, but most of the biggest living legends of Philadelphia sports and thousands of fans over 17 years have made the family-owned business the reason they come to Havertown. Carl Henderson, his wife Sue, and daughter Lauren have welcomed Philly sports superheroes from Bernie Parent (the store's first celebrity guest autograph signer) to Greg "The Bull" Luzinski who made his second appearance at the store on April 27. No damage, only smiling faces in Havertown as legendary Phillies slugger greets fans.
Legendary Phillies slugger Greg "The Bull" Luzinski was a big hit with fans Saturday in Havertown. The World Series champion met fans, posed for photos and signed autographs at Carl's Cards and Collectibles on Eagle Road in Havertown.

A Phillies giant, who helped them win a world series, is coming to Havertown Saturday.
A Phillies legend is coming to Havertown Saturday to sign meet fans and sign autographs. Greg "The Bull" Luzinski will be at Carl's Cards and Collectibles on Eagle Road from noon-1:30 p.m.. Autograph tickets are $20 and are available at the door. According to a press release from the shop Customers are welcome to bring their own item(s) to have signed. We will also have 8x10ʼs, 11x14ʼs, 16x20ʼs, bats, authentic maroon batting helmets, baseballs, mini bats, home plates & more for sale. Luzinski, also know as “The Bull,” is a 1980 World Series Champion with the Phillies and a four time All Star. One fan drove a long way to meet him.
Flyers Right Wing Jakub Voracek spent part of his night off Monday signing autographs and memorabilia for fans at Carl's Card and Collectibles in Havertown. Jay Pew was among the dozens who came to get a signature and a photo with the 23-year-old hockey player from the Czech Republic. Pew drove all the way from Burlington, NJ, to meet Voracek. "This is the greatest place to meet the players," Pew told Patch. Pew says he's been a big Flyer's fan since the early 70s "when they won the cup." That was two decades before Voracek was born.

Long-time stand-out will be at Carl's Cards on Saturday.
Former Flyers Right Wing star Mark Recchi will be signing autographs on Saturday at Carl's Cards and Collectibles in Havertown. According to a storepress release Recchi is a 3x Stanley Cup Champion and future Hall of Famer. He has scored 577 goals in his career that spanned 1988-2011. Recchi participated in the 2012 Winter Classic Alumni game at Citizens Bank Park. “This is one of those really great rare opportunities to meet a living legend,” Marketing Director Lauren Henderson said. “He hasnʼt done too many signings in this area and it is sure to be a nearly sold out event!”
