The fights took place at Saint Denis Fair and Haverford Middle School.
Haverford Township Police received two recent reports of fights. On May 2 police were called to Haverford Middle School in the 1800 block of Darby Road at 1:30 p.m. According to police, a boy punched another student in the jaw, causing a bruise. The following evening police responded to the Saint Denis Fair in the 300 block of E. Eagle Road at 9 p.m. for the report of a fight. A man told police that a man punched and kicked him until he fell to the ground. There were a few power outages during the St. Denis Fair on Eagle Road in Havertown Friday night, police officials said. The outages occurred prior to the heavy rains that fell on the area around 8 p.m. Friday, Haverford Township Police Det. Sgt. Shant Bedrossian said in an email message. Fair rides lost power and anyone who was on the rides was safely removed from them, Bedrossian said. There were no reported injuries. Power was restored to the area and the fair continued, Bedrossian said.
Five thefts were recently reported to Haverford Township Police.

Montgomery and Chester counties have issued an alert for a teen believed to be endangered.
Both Montgomery and Chester counties have sent out alerts about a missing 16-year-old girl believed to be an endangered runaway. Her name is Jazmine Denby and she is from Norristown. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children says she may go by the nickname Jazzy and that she went missing on last Tuesday. She is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Photos show her wearing glasses.
