Since 1925, the Manoa Fire Company has been serving the township; it is one of five stations in the 9.5-square-mile area that makes up the Haverford Township. The fire company is operated by an all-volunteer staff and uses a fire engine, a rescue-pumper, a rescue vehicle and two ambulances. New volunteer applications always are welcome.
