Relay For Life held its third annual walk as well as show off its new Memorial Garden with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Jamie Apody from channel 6 ABC Action News.
Hundreds of people came out for the third annual “Relay For Life” in Haverford Township on Saturday. The 24-hour event was held on the grounds at the Haverford Reserve.
The Memorial Garden, which has bricks that have the names of those who died of cancer, was unveiled by Jamie Apody from channel 6 ABC Action News. She was joined by Kathy Papa, as well as her two sons, Nathanial and Tucker. Gary Papa, Apody's mentor and ABC Action News legend, died of cancer two years ago.
