Havertown Man Elected to Board of Renowned Hospital Foundation

The Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation has elected Ronald J. Beckman, CPA, JD, LLM, of Havertown, as a new member of its Board of Trustees.

The Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation has elected Ronald J. Beckman, CPA, JD, LLM, of Havertown, as a new member of its Board of Trustees.  

He is Of Counsel for the Philadelphia tax and business consulting firm Drucker & Scaccetti and a partner in the Philadelphia law firm Drucker Beckman Sobel, LLP.

Prior to joining Drucker & Scacetti in 1992, Beckman worked as a tax partner in the Philadelphia office of Laventhol & Horwath and served as the tax director of a local accounting firm. He also taught courses on the taxation of S corporations and nonprofit corporations in the Villanova Law School Graduate Tax Program, where he served as an adjunct faculty member for several years. In addition to his tax consulting practice, Beckman has appeared as a daily radio commentator on the WPEN radio show, More for Your Money.

Beckman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Bar and is licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court.

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, founded in 1958, is a 96-bed specialty medical rehabilitation hospital providing physical and cognitive rehabilitation services. Magee’s flagship facility is located in Center City Philadelphia.
