Despite Heat Many Come Out For Touch-A-Truck

, many came out to the to enjoy the Touch-A-Truck event.

Many adults and children enjoyed climbing on and in school buses, construction vehicles, fire trucks and more.

Currently the total amount of money raised for the fundraising event has not been determined.

"We need to raise money for shade sails to keep the playground cool in hot weather," the Haverford Township Civic Council President Chris Whiting explained to the Haverford-Havertown Patch . "The shade sails are part of our continuing effort to make the playground accessible to all children even in hot weather."
