The Circuit Coalition and the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia will hold an informational meeting to launch The Circuit Commitment Campaign, which strives to replenish the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission's Regional Trail Fund, a competitive grant program established by the William Penn Foundation in 2010.  The fund previously distributed $10 million to the nine-county region, forwarding nearly 40 miles of trail in the Circuit.

Continuing the momentum of the first grant cycle, The Circuit Commitment Campaign seeks to allocate an additional $10 million for the years 2014-2016 to complete unfinished trails.  The fund will also help plan, design, and build new trails, bringing the vision of the Circuit, a world-class network of bike-ped trails, ever closer.

The Pennsylvania Caucus will provide an overview of the next set of Circuit trails currently under development in Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties and provide information on how community members can help secure trail funding.

This is a free informational meeting.
