New Summer Camp at the Historic Grange

Each five-day session will emphasize basic understanding of Pennsylvania's history.

Friends of the Grange, Inc. and the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation of Ridley Creek State Park, Media, have partnered to host a new summer program for 2013. 

The nature summer day camp is for elementary school-aged children, and will be held at the Grange Estate, 143 Myrtle Ave. in Havertown. 

Each five-day session will emphasize basic understanding of Pennsylvania's history, its abundant natural resources and the interaction of humans and the environment, according to The Historic Grange Estate.

The program will be offered the week of Aug. 5. The cost is $85 per person per week for Haverford Township residents, and $95 per person per week for non-residents.
