Some Ford Jerseys Still in Need of Sponsors

Haverford High School's Fords football team will be wearing pink jerseys to their home game on October 18 against Lower Merion as part of a fundraising community event.

Haverford High School’s Fords football team will be wearing pink jerseys to their home game on October 18 against Lower Merion as part of a fundraising community event.

For years the football players have had the tradition of wearing pink socks when they play during the month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, they are taking their tradition to the next level with pink jerseys, which community members are being asked to sponsor.

The football players will present the sponsor or honoree after the game with the jersey, which costs $100 per jersey. The proceeds will benefit the Kevin Cain Foundation.
