‘Celebrate Differences’ at Film Festival & Arts Exhibit featuring Performers and Artists with Intellectual disabilities

Hosted by The Arc of Delaware County & the Delco Office of Intellectual Disabilities, this event is the first of its kind

 Sara Abo-Harb, a Havertown high school student, is dedicated to spreading awareness about Autism. She is also a talented singer and musician. Sara will be sharing her talents at the Celebrating Differences Film Festival & Arts Exhibit on Saturday, March 3rd, where she will perform with her younger brother Anthony who has Autism. He will play the cello while Sara will play the violin.  Sara said, she loves performing with her younger brother to show how capable and talented he is.

 These two young people are just two of the many accomplished performers and artists participating in The Arc of Delaware County and the Delaware County Office of Intellectual Disabilities’ Celebrating Differences Film Festival & Arts Exhibit.  This event is being held at the Delaware County Community College from 2:00-6:00 p.m. to kick off Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Month by highlighting the talents and achievements of people with developmental disabilities. It is free and open to the public. The event’s main sponsor is iradiophilly. More details below.
