Kids' Clothing Sales, Storms (Maybe) in Havertown Friday

1. The Spring Chicken Kids' Consignment Sale is a twice yearly baby and children's clothing and equipment sale at Armenian Martyrs' Congregational Church, 100 N. Edmonds Avenue in Havertown. From noon to 8 p.m.

2. Olivia Bell of Havertown will play the character of "Turtle" in Upper Darby Summer Stage's “A Year With Frog and Toad,” which features the well-loved characters from Arnold Lobel’s classic children’s book. The performance is at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $6 - $9 and may be purchased at the Box Office, by calling 610.622.1189 or online at www.udpac.org. The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center is located in Drexel Hill at 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, minutes from the Main Line and Center City. Parking is free. 

3. Shopaholic Momma's Yard Sale at 206 Lee Circle in Bryn Mawr from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale includes: Gender Neutral Baby Clothes. Girl size newborn-4T. Boy size newborn-2T. Lots of kids shoes. Chic Brands like: Gymboree. Baby Lulu. Bleuberri Blvd. Little Bitty. Le Top. BT Kids. Carters. Gap. Oshkosh B'Gosh. Children's Place. Robeez. Keens. Nike. Nearly 100 dresses! Party and Holiday Dresses/Outfits worn 1 time. Jackets and snow pants in all sizes. Also for sale, Boppy and covers. Kids books and toys.

4. Tea & Stitch at Haverford Township Free Library at 10 a.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, quilting, or other handwork specialty and have a cup of tea.  Tea and Stitch is a program that has met every Friday for 10 years bringing all ages together who enjoy the needle arts. For beginner or experienced. No registration is required.

5. Rain or thunderstorms are possible for Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
