The Haverford Partnership for Economic Development (HPED) will hold a holiday window display contest.

A panel of judges organized by the HPED will observe window displays during the week of December 1-7th.  No registration for the contest is required.  First, second and third place winners will be selected in each of three categories: 1) most beautiful; 2) most creative; and 3) most effective in marketing the store's products or services.  The overall winner will be the one out of the nine that best combines all three qualities and will be selected by the public through voting on the HPED website during the week of December 8-14th.

The first place winners will receive plaques, second and third place winners will receive certificates. All nine winners will be publicized through press releases, photos on the HPED website at www.HPED.org and in the Civic Council's Informed Citizens Network.  HPED President, Brendan Goggin said "We want to encourage business owners in Haverford Township to enhance the attractiveness of our community while effectively promoting their businesses through beautiful, creative and informative window displays."
