Meet Haverford Middle School Teacher Mary Clouse

This educator has been in the industry for 11 years, spreading her passion for middle school geography.

What do you like most about your job? 

The staff and students! The staff are amazing to work with here at Haverford Middle School. The most important part of my job is seeing the look in the student's eyes when they get a concept. I love helping the students reach that point.

Why did you become a teacher? 

I always loved school and helping other students in my classes. I knew I could make the problem or question simple to understand for the students I was tutoring.

What do you like best about your current school (projects, programs or activities that your school is a part of):

At Haverford Middle School, we have so many great programs-the Potter Cup, Mock Election, Seventh Heaven-to name a few! I try to support the kids at any event we do here-even if it is only for half of a soccer game or concert!
