Local Vendors Represented at This Year's Shipley Shops

The Annual Shipley Shops Gift and Boutique Show is set for October 16 through the 19 at at the Yarnall Gymnasium at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr.

The Annual Shipley Shops Gift and Boutique Show is set for October 16 through the 19 at at the Yarnall Gymnasium at the Shipley School in Bryn Mawr.

The Shipley Shops, a tradition since 1961, has grown into a four-day event that features more than 40 vendors from across the country.

Twenty percent of each purchase benefits the school. Most recently the money raised has been used to support technology initiatives, financial aid for students, professional development for faculty, and other critical areas.

The Shops will be open to the public Thursday October 17 through Saturday October 19. Patrons can bring the whole family to the Shipley Shops on Saturday, October 19 for an admission free Family Fun Day with The Pizza Wagon mobile food truck on site.

This year’s event is co-chaired by Shipley parents Lisa Brandt, Abby Mezrow, and class of ’91 graduate, Michelle Kroiz Winn.
