Information for Parents and Guests:

The processional by students into seats for Graduation begins at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, June 11, with the actual ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Parents and guests are not permitted into the Pavillion once the processional begins. Please keep this in mind when planning for attending the ceremony. There are plenty of seats available at the Pavilion. However, they are occupied on a first come first served basis and parents are not permitted to reserve seats.

There is also plenty of parking for all guests in the open Villanova parking lots.  The number of handicap parking spaces is limited.  Therefore, we will use two different options for guests: handicap spaces and drop off parking.  If you can utilize the drop off parking, that will be appreciated.  If you do need a space near the Pavillion please request the handicap parking permit.  A map and a form to be completed in order to get handicap parking passes are located through a link below.

Parents and guests are encouraged to take pictures throughout the ceremony but are reminded to be respectful of all guests when taking pictures. Please remain in your seat to take your pictures.  We do have a professional photographer taking pictures of your children as they receive their diplomas and as they recess back to their seats.

Each family was given ten tickets at the mandatory graduation meeting. If you need more tickets, we encourage you to ask friends for unused tickets.  If you are unable to acquire enough tickets to accommodate your friends and family, please complete the form on the link below.

You can get additional tickets from Dr. Nesbitt's office when the form has been completed.  If you were not at the graduation meeting, you will be able to pick up your ten tickets from Ms. Lipscomb after all requirements and obligations have been fulfilled.

Information for Parents and Students:

Students are expected to attend a mandatory graduation practice on Monday, June 11, at 9 a.m. at the high school.  Students are required to report to the high school auditorium to learn the procedures for the graduation ceremony.  All students will be transported by bus from the high school to Villanova to practice for the event and will return by bus to the high school by 1:00 p.m.  Attendance will be taken at the practice.

On the night of graduation, students are expected to arrive at the Pavillion at 6 p.m.  Students are expected to dress appropriately. They will put on their caps and gowns once inside the venue.  Parents will not be permitted to visit students once they are located in the student section.  Students are encouraged to leave all bags, purses and valuables at home.  There are no facilities to store items and no items can be carried during the processional.

We will have just added a copy of the graduation seating chart (please see the attached PDF for the seating chart).  Students will sit in their advisories, the map indicates the letter associated with your child's advisory.  VT represents the vocational technical advisory, NHR represents no advisory assigned.

A copy of the graduation expectations for students can be found here.   Students must return a copy of the form signed by the student and a parent or guardian to Ms. Lipscomb prior to participation in the ceremony.

We look forward to another positive graduation. If you have any questions regarding graduation or senior events, please feel free to contact Dr. Nesbitt or Ms. Lipscomb.
