Haverford College Hosting Youth Hoops Clinic

Haverford College is hosting a basketball clinic on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for hoopsters in grades one through eight, the Delaware County Daily Times is reporting.

According to the paper, the clinic will be held at the college’s Gardner Integrated Athletic Facility on Monday, Jan. 21, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will cover the basics of the game.

The session, which will be overseen by members of the Haverford College basketball team and coaching staff, is sponsored by the township and will benefit the Community Action Agency of Delaware County. It costs $30 per student.
