A Fun Night Out With Benefits in Haverford

Looking for something fun and different to do in Havertown this Friday? Try Rockin' The Schoolhouse.

Looking for a fun night out Friday? Haverford High School faculty members and students will be performing in a special show to raise awareness to the issue of hunger, collect food for Philabundance and to raise money for the school's after-prom party.

According to information from the Haverford School District, The 2013 Rockin' The Schoolhouse Show  raises money for the BLAST committee, which supports the Senior Prom after party, and supports Philabundance, which works to drive hunger from our communities.  Last year's show raised $1,100 for the BLAST, and we collected over 130 items for Philabundance.  It's going to be a GREAT night of music, featuring songs by The Police, Billy Joel, Taylor Swift, Kings of Leon, Phillip Phillips, Bruce Springsteen, The White Stripes, and The Who (just to name several) all performed by Haverford High staff.
