On Thursday, May 8, the Middle School Boys Track team competed at the Cougar Carnival. The Carnival is the end of season track meet at Springfield High School and includes all 12 local middle schools in the league. Trey Cornish, a 7th grader, ran the 200 m dash in 23.96 seconds (official time), winning first place and breaking the HMS school record for the third time this season. In addition, we had a 4x400 relay team of Eli Stowell, George Mitoulis, Andrew Elcock, and Trey Cornish, win first place by running 3:55 (unofficial time).
