Haverford High School Future Business Leaders of America Organized Clothing Drive

HAVERTOWN— In preparation for this upcoming holiday season, students at Haverford High School organized a community-wide effort to help children in need. Members of Future Business Leaders of America and National Business Honors Society led the Haverford High community in a clothing drive.  Students collected new and gently used clothing items and donated them to Cradles to Crayons, an organization which helps low-income households in the area.

The effort to help less-fortunate families is an ongoing process. Haverford FBLA members have decided to work with Cradles to Crayons as their yearly community service project. Hundreds of business-minded students will be getting involved throughout the year. Perhaps the most anticipated event is the annual FBLA Charity Dodgeball Tournament, where students and faculty make donations to see their classmates compete. It is one of the school’s most exciting events, and this year the proceeds will be donated to Cradles to Crayons.  Members will also be visiting the Cradles to Crayons facility in Conshohocken in December to volunteer.
