Fourth Graders at Manoa Elementary Volunteer

HAVERTOWN— The 4th graders at Manoa Elementary went on a community service field trip led by 4th grade teacher Barrie Butler. Students visited SHARE Food Program in Philadelphia and packed over 500 boxes of food for those in need this Thanksgiving. SHARE Food Program’s mission is to promote healthy living and stronger communities through affordable, wholesome food. Through the efforts of volunteers and the support of community SHARE distributes thousands of pounds of food a month and education and outreach throughout the region. This is the 10th year students from Manoa have done this trip!
