Saint Laurence Student Art to be Featured in Holiday Show

Saint Laurence Student art will be featured in 'A Bit of the Arts' Holiday Arts Sale in Lansdowne later this month.

Saint Laurence School is one of just six schools participating in "A Bit of the Arts" Holiday Art Sale, during which hundreds of pieces of student artwork will be displayed while more than 30 artists sell their handcrafted wares.

The event, sponsored by the Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation and organized by Saint Laurence School Art Teacher Liz Steele Coats, will feature dozens of artists and musicians at the Twentieth Century Club, located at 84 S. Lansdowne Avenue, on Nov. 29 from 6-9 p.m. and Nov.30 from 10 a.m –4 p.m.

Hand-crafted holiday gifts such as jewelry, pottery, glasswork, paper arts, painting, fibers, sculpture, printmaking and photography will be featured at the event.

Admission to the event is free, and gourmet food is available; live music includes Joseph Healey, Robert Wates, Linda Steele, Sweetbriar Rose, David Bruggink & The Next Campaign, and more.

Saint Laurence is a Catholic elementary school for students in Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth grade, founded by Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) in 1919.
