Residential Sales Prices Up in September

Property settlements in Haverford Township during September of 2013 held steady from the same month last year. 

According to a report from Prudential Fox and Roach, there were 42 properties that closed in September, compared with 44 from last year. That number was 48 in September 2011. 

The median price of the properties that did sell in September of 2013 increased by 8.4 percent over the same period last year, from $249,000 to $270,000. That number was $260,000 in September 2011.

The average days on the market increased by 2.9 percent from 70 to 72 days between last September and this September.
