July a Good Month for Haverford Township Home Settlements
Property settlements in Haverford Township during July of 2013 increased 65 percent from the same month last year.
Property settlements in Haverford Township during July of 2013 increased 65 percent from the same month last year.
According to a report from Prudential Fox and Roach, there were 76 properties that closed in July, compared with 46 from last year. That number was 48 in July 2011.
The median price of the properties that did sell in July of 2013 decreased less than one percent over the same period last year, from $285,250 to $283,000. That’s not far from $285,000 in July 2011.

The average days on the market decreased by 30 percent from 79 to 56 days between last July and this July.
