Property settlements in Haverford Township during October of 2013 increased 34.3 percent from the same month last year.

According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 47 properties that closed in October, compared with 35 from last year. In October of 2011 that number was 29.
The median price of the properties that did sell in October of 2013 decreased 2.4 percent over the same period last year, from $290,000 to $283,000, both up from $250,000 in October 2011.

The average days on the market decreased by 16 percent from 75 to 63 days between last October and this October.
