Haverford Township Home Sales Report from December

Property settlements in Haverford Township during December of 2013 increased 6.8 percent from the same month the previous year. 

According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 47 properties that closed in December, compared with 44 from the year before. In December of 2011 that number was 50.

The median price of the properties that did sell in December of 2013 increased 9.6 percent over the same period in 2012, from $265,500 to $291,000.  In December 2011, the median price was $271,500.

The average days on the market decreased by 13.8 percent from 87 to 75 days between December 2012 and December 2013.
