Update on Marple and Darby Creek Roads

Haverford Township has reportedly received numerous complaints about the condition of both roads.

Haverford Township's Fourth Ward Commissioner Dan Siegel says that Marple and Darby Creek Roads are slated to be paved this spring.

In an email to constituents, Siegel writes that the township has received numerous complaints about the condition of both roads.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is responsible for repairs and repaving because they are state-owned roads.

PennDOT has told the township that Darby Creek Road (from Lawrence Road to Marple Road), and Marple Road (from Darby Road to Sproul Road), will be paved this spring, according to Siegel.
