Road Restrictions Planned in Haverford Next Week

Aqua will be installing water mains.

Aqua Pennsylvania will restrict state highways in Delaware County and Montgomery County for water main installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

The work schedule is:

• Monday through Friday (March 10-14) – One lane will be closed on northbound and southbound Eagle Road at Harrington Road in Haverford Township, Delaware County from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.;

• March 17 through June 17 – Trinity Lane will be closed between Holstein Road and Swedeland Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be detoured over Holstein Road, Swedeland Road and Trinity Lane.

Aqua will complete these projects under separate PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permits.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 680 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available by calling 5-1-1, and regional Twitter alerts are available on the 511PA website.
