Meehan Has 'Front Row' Seat to Inauguration

The Seventh District Republican posts photo from the Presidential Inauguration.

Monday's Presidential Inauguration was the first since Congressman Patrick Meehan (R-PA7) was elected to Congress in 2010, and the Rep. not only had a seat on the West Front of the Capitol, he posted a photo from his vantage point on the platform on his official Facebook page.

“I congratulate President Obama on his second term, wish him the best and hope he will lead this country to meet the great challenges before us. Chief among them is getting our economic and fiscal house in order. We must keep building on our economic recovery to create good and permanent jobs, and in Pennsylvania, we must continue working to develop the vast opportunities before us in the energy and life sciences sectors. “We ought to have great debates about the big issues, and the partisan divide can be a stumbling block but it can never hold us back. I am here to get the job done and work with all those of good will who are interested in solutions to our biggest challenges. It is a great honor to serve the people of the 7th District in Congress.”
