Lanes to Close on Township Line Road ... Again

There are a number of road projects scheduled for Haverford-Havertown for the week of August 28.

Haverford-Havertown drivers might want to find a way around Route 1 for a few weeks.

According to a release from PennDOT, Township Line Road (US 1) in Haverford Township will see lane closures during weekdays through September 29.

The closures, which are expected to occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturdays, is part of a county road widening project.

Check the list below for more Haverford road closings and traffic changes expected for the week of August 27.

  • Coopertown Road in Haverford will see lane restrictions due to curb ramp reconstruction at Stockton Road and Highland Lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 28 to 31.

  • Haverford Road in Haverford will see lane restrictions due to curb ramp reconstruction at College Avenue and Landover and County Line Roads from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 28 to 31.

  • US 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Haverford will see lane restrictions due to curb ramp reconstruction at Old Lancaster Road and Lee Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 28 to 31.

  • US 1 (Township Line Road) will see lane closures between Darby Road and Harding Drive for a paving project. Closures are expected between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. until Aug. 30.

  • US 1 (Township Line Road) in Haverford will see lane closures between Darby Road and Harding Drive for road wideining. Closures are expected between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturdays, through September 29.

  • State highways in Haverford, Marple, Newtown, Radnor and Springfield will see slow moving vehicles as part of a line painting operation. Drivers are advised to give these trucks appropriate distance and to stay off the traffic lanes. Painting will occur from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Aug. 28 to Sept. 9.
