K-9 Gets Bullet Proof Vest from Kennel Club

The Delaware County Kennel Club presented a bullet proof vest and a first aid kit to Charlie, a new K-9 German shepherd assigned to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office to patrol county government premises and to detect explosives. The K-9 unit assists in security sweeps of courtrooms, bomb detection, maintaining control with prisoners and tracking criminals.
