Haverford Inviting Voters to Bring Supplies for 'Sandy' Victims to Polls

The effort will take place at township polling places on Election Day.

Haverford Township is giving its residents another good reason to head to the polls on Tuesday.

According to the Delaware County News Network, the township held a press conference on Saturday announcing that it would be collecting supplies for victims of Hurricane Sandy at Haverford voting centers this Election Day.

The township is requesting voters bring non-perishable foods, bottled water, clothing, blankets, towels, baby items, toiletries, work gloves, trash bags, and cleaning supplies. The township added that they cannot accept items jarred in glass.
