10 New Parking Spots Coming To Pennfield Route 100 Station

Construction of the 10 new parking spots is expected to be completed by the end of July.

In a newsletter to 4th Ward residents, Dan Siegel, the 4th ward commissioner, stated that PennDOT has granted 10 additional parking spots at the Pennfield SEPTA station for the Route 100 line.

"The spots, along Manoa Road, are what I hope will be just the first step in addressing the concerns of commuters and residents who use or live near these transit stops," Siegel stated in the newsletter. "The township is in the process of making the improvements necessary to add the spots, and to prepare the intersection for pedestrian use."

He stated that the township hopes that the construction of the new parking spots will be completed by the end of July.
