A woman was struck by a car at the intersection of West Chester Pike and Washington Avenue, Haverford Township police said.
While police said it was an ongoing investigation and could not release information about the victim or the circumstances of the accident, they did state that the woman was struck by a car around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
She was taken to an area hospital and was conscious and alert, police stated.
