Wallet, Laptop, Shrubs Amongst Reported Thefts

Theft from Cars

  • In the 400 block of Earlington Road on September 5 an unlocked car was entered and a wallet containing $600, credit cards and a driver's license was stolen.
  • In the 200 block of Sagamore Road on September 8 an iPod was stolen from an unlocked car.
  • At Haverford Community Park in the 8000 block of Parkview Drive on September 10 a briefcase and laptop were stolen from an unlocked car.


Thefts from Homes

  • In the 800 block of Cricket Avenue on September 8 someone reported that her laptop was stolen from her apartment.

  • At the Quadrangle in the 3300 block of Darby Road on September 9 it was reported that a check made out to the victim from his insurance carrier and more than $200 was stolen from his apartment.

Bicycle Thefts

  • In the 1200 block of West Chester Pike on September 4 at 9:42 p.m.
  • At Haverford High School on September 7 at 9:11 p.m.
  • In the 2400 block of Hirst Terrace on September 10 at 7:16 p.m.


Thefts of Shrubs

  • In the unit block of Cambridge Road on September 4 a resident reported that someone removed and stole five skip laurel shrubs from his front yard.
  • In the 300 block of Ardmore Avenue on September 4 it was reported that three skip laurel trees were stolen from the victim's yard.

Ok HTPD Officer Redding in particular "WHO WOULD STEAL YOUR UMBRELLA OFF YOUR PORCH?" The guy who stole the shrubs He has some nice yard going on. Who stole your brain cells?
