Virgin Mary Statue Shattered, License Plate Stolen and More in the Police Blotter

Haverford Township Police are investigating a number of reports of theft and vandalism.

Haverford Township Police are investigating a number of reports of theft and vandalism.

  • A Virgin Mary statue was reportedly shattered in the 1700 block of Manor Road, it was reported Jan. 1. 

  • A copper pipe was reported stolen on Jan. 2 from the basement of a property in the 1000 block of Edgewood Road.

  • A license plate was reported stolen from a car on Jan. 2 in the 100 block of Darby Road.

  • A car was forced open, but nothing was reportedly stolen, on Jan. 4 in the 100 block of Morlyn Avenue.

  • A 43-year-old Philadelphia woman was cited for retail theft after she reportedly stole $105 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s in the 200 block of West Chester Pike on Jan. 5.

  • A ring was reported stolen from the a dresser in a home in the 400 block of Glendale Road on Jan. 6.

  • A car's windshield was cracked in the 200 block of Wendover Drive on Jan. 6.

  • A glass pane in the front door of a home was shattered in the 500 block of Kenmore Road on Jan. 6.
