Thefts from Y Parking Lot, Haverford Township Building in Police Blotter

Read reports of theft from last week in Haverford Township.

Haverford Township Police are investigating a number of recently reported thefts.

  • Someone took a rain barrel and two boxes that were delivered earlier in the day from the vestibule area of the Haverford Township Building in the 2300 block of Darby Road in Havertown on October 16.

  • A gym bag was stolen containing $20, credit cards, driver’s license, car keys, cell phone and clothing was stolen out of an unlocked car at the YMCA in the 800 block of N. Eagle Road on October 17.

  • Two street signs were stolen near the intersection of Strathmore and Allston Roads on October 16.

  • A wallet containing a driver’s license and a $1,000 was stolen from a car in the 400 block of Richland Avenue on October 16.

  • Jewelry and a large amount of money were reported missing from a home in the 100 block of Tunbridge Road on October 17.

  • A backpack containing an air card, a wireless mouse and a shirt was stolen out of an unlocked car in the unit block of E. Clearfield Avenue on October 18.

  • Jewelry was reported stolen from a resident's bedroom in the 300 block of Ellis Road on October 18.

  • Loose change was stolen from an unlocked car in the 100 block of Whitemarsh Road on October 18.

  • A cell phone was stolen out of an unlocked car in the unit block of Shawnee Road on October 19.
